RIM's BlackBerry Can Run Android Apps & Games Video



By now, many of you have probably heard how RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook tablet can run Android apps, which is kind of amazing if you think about it, since the PlayBook does not run the Android OS. It’s not an unofficial hack either, it’s officially sanctioned and will be available for all PlayBook users. Today, at the BlackBerry World conference, RIM demoed the PlayBook’s ability to run Android apps and games. Android developers will have to sign up for a BlackBerry App World account and then migrate their apps over in order for them to show up on RIM’s app store. They’ve also tackled the button-less issue by using gestures to bring up menus and options. Check out the video demo below.
