Cheapest but Fastest Honeycomb Android Tablet Presented by ARCHOS



If you haven’t treat yourself with an Android Tablet because of the price range currently available in market or just waiting for something which will give better performance then here we got some mind blowing news for you. ARCHOS just announced a pair of fastest Android Honeycomb Tablet comparing any other in current market and guess what! they’ve got cheapest price tag as well. ARCHOS 80 G9 & ARCHOS 101 G9 both of them running on Android 3.1 Honeycomb and powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core CORTEX A9 OMAP4 processor which claimed to be 50% more powerful than NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 dual core processor. The OMAP4 CPUs suppose to reduce web page loading times by up to 50% than other tablets running on Nvidia Tegra 2.

ARCHOS 80 G9 has got a 8-inch screen with a 1024 x 768 resolution on the other hand ARCHOS 101 G9 got usual 10.1-inch screen with a 1280 x 800 resolution. There is a 720p front-facing camera but no mention about secondary camera. Also a Kick-stand is placed on the back and HDMI output is available. Another great feature is customer no longer have to chose between an 3G or WiFi only models, with a ARCHOS G9 3G USB stick for just a $49 upgrade, the users can start enjoying 3G connectivity on his ARCHOS tablet or PCs compared to other tablets where 3G modules add over $100 to the cost and there’s no option to add it later. Both ARCHOS 80 G9 & ARCHOS 101 G9 got a huge Tablet storage capacity with the built-in 250GB HDD from Seagate. ARCHOS are the first in the industry to offer a tablet with a hard drive, bringing 8 times more storage at the same cost of a standard 32GB tablet.

Here comes the surprise, while regular Android Tablet pricing start from $499, ARCHOS is offering ARCHOS 80 G9 8” tablet starting at $279 and ARCHOS 101 G9 10.1” tablet starting $349. The ARCHOS 80 G9 and ARCHOS 101 G9 will be available at the end of September and will be shown beginning of September at IFA.
